Bloomberg Attackers Kidnap 60 Pipeline Workers in Peru's Andes: "The attack occurred today near the village of Tocate, Defense Minister Aurelio Loret de Mola said in a statement. Army troops were sent to the area to try to free the hostages and to 'preserve physical integrity and life,' he said. He blamed the attack on about 60 'armed criminals."
